Academic publisher Emerald Group Publishing Inc., UK, has announced the appointment of Eric Hall as Vice President of Publishing for the Americas.
Based in Boston, Hall will focus on the acquisition of quality books and journals in Emerald's key subject areas, as well as raising the awareness and impact of existing content amongst researchers and practitioners in the region.
Hall comes to Emerald from Institutional Investor Journals where he was responsible for the publication and performance of several journals, guides, books, and content collections for investment professionals and researchers. Prior to this, he was Senior Editor with Wiley-Blackwell, responsible for the performance and strategic development of journals in the fields of engineering, material science, and chemistry.
