Media Source, Inc., recently announced the appointment of Michael P. Kelley as Editor-in-Chief of Library Journal (LJ). Kelley currently serves as Executive Editor of News and Features for Library Journal. He replaces long-time LJ Editor-in-Chief Francine Fialkoff.
Kelley holds an MSLIS degree and brings more than 25 years in journalism, including nine years as a staff editor at the New York Times. He started in 2010 as news editor and rose quickly.
Josh Hadro has been appointed to the newly created position of executive editor of Library Journal. Hadro, who also holds an MSLIS, joined LJ in 2008 and most recently served as executive editor of digital projects. He is also a visiting instructor at the Pratt Institute’s School of Information and Library Science.
