Academic and professional literature publisher Emerald Group Publishing Ltd., UK, has announced the appointment of Deanna Wamae as Senior VP of the Americas. In her new role, Deanna will focus on driving sales growth and usage development across North and South America.
Deanna has considerable industry experience. Her most recent position was Publisher Relations Manager for the Copyright Clearance Centre (CCC). Prior to joining CCC, she worked in sales and journals licensing for Blackwell Publishing supporting growth throughout the Americas, and developing relationships with library consortia. Previously, Deanna was Program Director and Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for EF Education, the world's largest global for-profit intercultural education company.
