Oxford University Press announces institutional journal prices for 2011 -

Publisher Oxford University Press (OUP) has announced institutional journal prices for 2011. The Oxford Journals Collection is available to institutional subscribers either as a full collection or subject packages. The full collection consists of 228 journals including nine new titles for 2011. A full list of joiners, leavers and other changes to OUP's list in 2011 are available at http://www.oxfordjournals.org/access_purchase/changes_2011.html.

To access content published prior to 1996, libraries can purchase or subscribe to the Oxford Journals Archive. The archive includes content published from 1849 to 1995 in over 3.4 million pages of content back to Volume 1 Issue 1 for each title included. Available as a complete package or as five subject packages it is claimed to be the perfect complement to current content subscriptions.

Since 2010 the online-only price has been the base price for the journals OUP publishes, with the print-only price calculated at 110 percent and the print and online combined at 120 percent of the online-only. Subscriptions cover content from 1996 to the present day and perpetual access is granted to subscribed-to content.

OUP will be taking on publication of six journals from 2011, including Clinical Infectious Diseases, The Journal of American History, The Journal of Infectious Diseases, OAH Magazine of History, The Quarterly Journal of Economics and The Review of Economics Studies. It will also be launching two new journals - International Journal of Data Privacy Law and The Review of Asset Pricing Studies.
