Future Medicine, part of Future Science Group, UK, has announced the launch of a new journal - Imaging in Medicine – addressing the technologies that are now revolutionising noninvasive clinical investigation and therapy. Dr Elliott Fishman of John Hopkins University in Baltimore has been appointed as the Senior Editor with responsibility for the editorial direction.
A bimonthly publication, the journal provides essential updates from international experts on recent research and clinical practice on medical imaging techniques impacting the diagnosis and treatment of patients with serious conditions in areas such as oncology, cardiology and neurology. The inaugural issue is available online at http://www.futuremedicine.com/loi/iim.
Imaging in Medicine articles, which include reviews, original research, perspectives, commentary and news & views, are highly structured and illustrated, and presented in highly accessible formats. Articles are subject to peer review, with at least three independent assessments per article. The journal also publishes peer-reviewed profiles of new technologies and products with imaging applications.
