RSC Publishing announces inaugural issue of Chemical Science -

Scientific publisher RSC Publishing, the publishing arm of the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK, has announced that the inaugural issue of the journal Chemical Science is now available online. Professor David MacMillan of Princeton, USA, serves as the Editor-in-Chief. He is supported by an international team of Associate Editors who will drive the scientific development and make decisions on the content.

Chemical Science is projected to be an essential resource for academic and industrial chemists in all areas of the chemical sciences. The journal publishes original research articles of significance from across the chemical sciences. Main research areas include Organic chemistry; Inorganic chemistry; Physical chemistry; Materials science; Nanoscience; Catalysis; Chemical biology; Analytical chemistry; Supramolecular chemistry; Computational and theoretical chemistry; Energy and environmental chemistry; and Green chemistry.

All existing RSC customers will gain free institutional online access to the entire 2010 and 2011 content of Chemical Science. New institutional customers can register for access on the website. Access is managed by institution and IP address, and is not available to individuals.
