Scientific publisher RSC Publishing, the publishing arm of the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK, has announced the online publication of the first issue of MedChemComm. MedChemComm is a new a high-impact, peer-reviewed journal for the rapid publication of research in medicinal chemistry.
The journal is free for all to read online. Free institutional online access to the entire 2010 and 2011 content is available on registration at www.rsc.org/medchemcomm_registration. Subscribers to RSC Journals Packages A+ and A, who have supplied us with their IP address, do not need to register, as access will be provided automatically. Readers will also benefit from enhanced HTML articles via RSC Prospect (including, structure and sub-structure searching, hyperlinked compound information and many more useful features).
Monthly issues contain a mix of vibrant and concise research and review articles suitable for readers active in the fields of medicinal chemistry, drug discovery, pharmacology and pharmaceutical research. The journal includes traditional areas of the chemical sciences together with topics at the interface with biology and physics.
