Registrations for Science Online London 2011 now open -

Scientific publisher Nature Publishing Group, UK, has announced that registration is now open for the fourth annual Science Online London. Co-hosted by nature.com and Digital Science, the conference is scheduled for September 2-3 at the British Library.

The event will explore the ways in which the Web has transformed scientific research and communication. This year's Science Online London will bring together a global mix of technologists, data curators, science communicators, and researchers. The two-day event will include keynotes talks, discussion panels, community-driven sessions, workshops, and fringe events.

Participants on the programme include: Michael Nielsen (Open Science advocate), Ivan Oransky (executive editor of Reuters Health, author of Embargo Watch and Retraction Watch blogs) Maryann Martone (Neuroscience Information Framework, SMA Foundation), Jer Thorp (data artist at the New York Times), and microbiologist Rosie Redfield.
