Academic publisher SAGE announced that SAGE Knowledge, the social science online library, is a finalist for the 2013 SIIA Content CODiE Awards for Best General Reference Service.
Serving as the pre-eminent awards programme for the software and information industries, the SIIA CODiE Awards have been honouring excellence for 27 years. This year's programme has 75 categories organised by industry focus in Content, Education and Software.
Launched in July of 2012 with more than 2,500 titles, SAGE Knowledge is SAGE's premier social science eBook platform containing an expansive range of SAGE eBooks and eReference content including encyclopaedias, handbooks, advanced textbooks, scholarly monographs, professional development titles, and other selected works from Corwin and CQ Press. The SAGE Knowledge platform is easily navigated, allowing researchers to cross-search and seamlessly access all of its content from one source.
CODiE finalists represent the best products, technologies, and services created by or for media, publishers, and information services providers. CODiE Award winners will be announced during a special luncheon on January 31 in New York City during the SIIA's annual flagship conference for information industry leaders, IIS 2013: Breakthrough.
