Information services provider Thomson Reuters, US, has announced the availability of a Japanese version of the ScholarOne Manuscripts peer review system, as part of the company’s renewed partnership with Kyorinsha Co., Ltd. The new version offers a Japanese language interface, combined with key components in the original system to allow for the full support capabilities users have come to expect from ScholarOne.
The Japanese version of the ScholarOne Manuscripts seeks to enhance usability and information sharing for Japanese-speaking users and supports the Thomson Reuters research workflow solution suite for the extensive Japanese scientific community. Several organisations in the region have already started using this system. The first user, The Japanese Society of Gastroenterological Surgery, selected ScholarOne Manuscript’s Japanese system for use in The Japanese Journal of Gastroenterological Surgery.
