The American Psychiatric Publishing, Inc. (APPI), US, has announced that it has redesigned and upgraded its website, www.appi.org. The new revamped website is projected to allow APPI to take advantage of all of today's online marketing tools.
According to the company, the new features include a fast, intuitive and user-friendly search engine; better browsing options with content grouped within four categories - Disorders, Subjects, Assessment & Treatment and Guides, and References and Manuals; and individual book and journal pages with easy-to-navigate tabs, Google preview, links to social networking websites and suggested title.
APPI, a wholly owned subsidiary of the American Psychiatric Association, publishes books, journals and multimedia on psychiatry, mental health and behavioral science. The organisation seeks to provide authoritative, up-to-date and affordable information geared toward psychiatrists, other mental health professionals, psychiatric residents, medical students and the general public.
