The reference is edited by Dr. Sam W. Wiesel, Orthopaedic Surgeon-in-Chief at Georgetown University Hospital, and a team of thirteen section editors, with over 800 contributors from leading institutions around the world. Operative Techniques in Orthopaedic Surgery features 12,500 original photographs and illustrations, including 8,000 full colour images. The text incorporates evidence-based medicine whenever possible.
