SAGE expands its suite of Therapeutic Advances journals with two new titles -

Academic publisher SAGE has extended its suite of Therapeutic Advances journals with the launch of a further two titles - Therapeutic Advances in Chronic Disease and Therapeutic Advances in Endocrinology and Metabolism.

Therapeutic Advances in Chronic Disease covers the drug treatment of all major chronic diseases excluding cancer, publishing guidance on which drugs to use and when. Single-drug reviews (including brief reviews of new drugs) and drug class reviews are also published with the aim of providing practically relevant information to the doctor group that treats such patients. Michael Schachter, senior lecturer of the National Heart and Lung Institute at Imperial College, London, is the Editor-in-Chief of the journal.

Therapeutic Advances in Endocrinology and Metabolic Disorders publishes peer-reviewed original research, reviews, and scholarly comment on pioneering efforts and innovative studies in Endocrinology and Metabolism. Aimed at clinicians and researchers from the field, the journal seeks to be a forum for all views and reviews relating to this diverse discipline. Glenn Matfin, specialist in Adult Diabetes and Endocrinology at the Joslin Diabetes Center, USA, will be the Editor in Chief of the journal.

International in scope, both the journals follow the successful format of the existing seven Therapeutic Advances titles, offering rapid peer review and publication, with manuscripts published online within seven weeks of acceptance. Each journal publishes six issues per year and will be freely available on the SAGE Journals Online platform for the first three years of publication.
