Publisher O'Reilly Media, US, is set to host the O'Reilly Tools of Change (TOC) for Publishing Conference that will explore the new world of publishing without boundaries. The event is scheduled for February 14 - 16, 2011 at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers in New York City.
The event is aimed at understanding the profound changes affecting the industry. It seeks to connect the people, companies and organisations building the future of publishing. TOC's programme will seek to integrate the visionary with the proven and practical, bringing together the people who are shaping publishing's future. A day-by-day schedule is available online at

Now in its fifth year, TOC claims to be the premiere event for the publishing industry. The aim is to bring together a network of stakeholders from the global publishing and technology ecosystems, offering a broader perspective than niche events and exposure to the best of the best. The speakers will present topics that reportedly push the boundaries of how we define publishing.
Programme Chairs Andrew Savikas and Kat Meyer have curated the content to focus on the most relevant and new ideas, tools, analysis and projects. Over 40 sessions and 12 in-depth workshops will cover a wide variety of topics for industry professionals to attend.
Inspirational keynotes will seek to frame the visions of publishing's future into a meaningful picture. Conference attendees will get a chance to hear from the likes of Margaret Atwood, Kevin Kelly, Ben Huh, Theodore Gray, Skip Prichard and Jim Fruchterman.
TOC's exhibit hall is projected to play host to a broad variety of companies and organisations working in publishing. For the first time this year, TOC will host the Publishing Startup Showcase, where 20 publishing startup companies will showcase their products in one room.
