Serials Solutions, a US-based provider of tools and services for libraries and a business unit of ProQuest LLC, has announced that the Indian Institute of Management at Bangalore (IIMB) has selected and successfully implemented Serials Solutions 360 Counter. With the implementation of the Serials Solutions 360 Counter, the IIMB seeks to provide librarians with an easy-to-use system for viewing, analysing and reporting on the use and return on investment (ROI) surrounding their collections.
According to the company, 360 Counter reduces the time it takes to process and analyse usage data received from COUNTER-compliant reports. The service inserts costs, associates subjects, standardises titles, calculates usage and costs and automates analysis. Users can then customise their reporting based on the criterion that's most important to stakeholders.
