Serials Solutions, a ProQuest business, is working with the Audio Engineering Society (AES) to make the rich collection of technical and scientific papers and reports from AES discoverable through the Summon service. The Society's publications span every aspect of audio, from psychoacoustics and amplifier design to spatial re-creation and sound for computer games. The agreement makes the latest knowledge and research related to audio engineering more discoverable for millions of researchers.
The Summon service will index the full text of the Journal of the Audio Engineering Society;
Convention Papers library; and Conference Proceedings and Collected Papers library.
The official publication of the AES, the Journal of the Audio Engineering Society claims to be the only peer-reviewed journal devoted exclusively to audio technology. The journal contains technical papers and engineering reports; feature articles; pre and post reports of AES conventions and other society activities; Standards and Education Committee work; patents, new products, and newsworthy developments in the field of audio.
The Convention Papers library collection includes scientific presentations and technical papers, as well as supporting materials for various student activities, workshops and tutorials.
AES conferences, held periodically in locations around the world, are devoted to a specific field of audio engineering. The Conference Proceedings and Collected Papers library comprises these gatherings, and the publication of their proceedings contribute to the international advance of audio technology.
By aiding researchers in discovering this content, the Summon service helps the academic community stay current with emerging audio technologies and techniques.
