Academic publisher Emerald Group Publishing Limited, UK, has announced twelve new journals scheduled for launch in 2011. The company's ongoing new launch programme aims to explore emerging areas of research, support research for the social good and sustainability, and promote authorship worldwide.
New titles strengthening the Business, Management and Economics portfolio include: Arts Marketing, Grey Systems, Journal of Family Business Management, and Sport, Business and Management. Five publications will focus on the output of research with an emphasis of social impact and sustainability. These include: Journal of Accounting in Emerging Economies, Journal of Agribusiness in Developing and Emerging Economies, Journal of Cultural Heritage Management and Sustainable Development, Journal of Humanitarian Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Journal of Social Marketing.
The journal China Finance Review International will expand the scope of region-specific publications, whilst Built Environment Project and Asset Management and Higher Education, Skills and Work-based Learning will add to the Built Environment and Education portfolios, respectively.
As an international publisher, Emerald continues to build its presence in Emerging countries with an active new launch programme for region specific publications, providing publishing opportunities for all authors around the globe. In 2011, it will continue to offer research funding and awards for case study and doctoral research.
