Wiley-Blackwell adds over 40 new titles to its journals programme in 2011 -

Wiley-Blackwell, the STM and Scholarly (STMS) publishing business of John Wiley & Sons, Inc., US, has announced that it is adding 42 new titles to its journals programme in 2011. This includes 11 new launches and 35 journals published in collaboration with societies or other organisations.

Beginning early 2011, 11 new scholarly journals will publish on Wiley Online Library, offering the latest, peer-reviewed research in their subject areas. They include Advanced Energy Materials, Clinical Obesity, Global Strategy Journal (published with the Strategic Management Society), Greenhouse Gases: Science and Technology (a partnership between Wiley-Blackwell and the Society of Chemical Industry), and International Forum of Allergy and Rhinology (the official title of The American Academy of Otolaryngologic Allergy and the American Rhinologic Society). In 2011, Wiley will also launch two new Wiley Interdisciplinary Reviews (WIREs) - WIREs Data mining and Knowledge Discovery and WIREs Computational Molecular Science.

Among the established titles moving to Wiley-Blackwell are many published with prestigious scholarly and scientific societies and other organisations, most notably the 11 journals of the British Psychological Society. Other journals joining Wiley-Blackwell this year include Australian Journal of Psychology and Australian Psychologist (for the Australian Psychological Society); The Journal of Midwifery & Women's Health (for the American College of Nurse-Midwives); and Legislative Studies Quarterly (for the Comparative Legislative Research Center).
