The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) International, US, has announced that a web-based software designed to assist in the publishing of technical papers is now available to SAE's international sections.
According to the Society, SAE's international sections are increasingly sponsoring conferences in which technical papers are presented. The software - MyTechZone - enables conference organisers, authors and reviewers to track the progress of technical papers.
The software manages the entire technical paper presentation process and simplifies the communication between parties, from creation of the abstract to the final product. It enables reviewers to make comments and suggestions at a single location. Rather than having multiple reviewers corresponding with authors via email with attachments, all the comments and changes can be made with the technical paper housed at MyTechZone. Organisers will now be able to better manage and monitor the process because of the single location.
