Learning solutions provider Delmar, part of Cengage Learning, US, has announced the publication of the fifth edition of Delmar's Standard Textbook of Electricity. This new edition includes all of the resourceful content from the prior editions, in addition to 2011 National Electrical Code updates, an online homework option, reference tips throughout the text and a new chapter focusing on industry orientation.
Delmar's Standard Textbook of Electricity, 5e, claims to be one of the most comprehensive textbooks on DC/AC circuits and machines available for electrical students. The text has been organised so that all relevant information is located within a given chapter, making it easy to teach topics in any order.
Authored by Stephen L. Herman, the new edition is visually appealing, with easy-to-understand coverage of alternating current theory and expanded coverage of topics such as transformers and electrical filters.
