Online submission system provider Aries Systems, US, has announced that the Endocrine Society is in the process of establishing Editorial Manager sites as the electronic workflow solution for four of its journals. The journals are: Endocrinology, Endocrine Reviews, The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism and Molecular Endocrinology.
Founded in 1916, The Endocrine Society claims to be the world's oldest organisation devoted to research on hormones and the clinical practice of endocrinology. Its peer-reviewed journals lead the field in providing in-depth information on cutting-edge issues in endocrinology.
The innovative features comprising EM's frequent releases appealed to the society with its compressed publishing lead times, and its processes such as REP (Rapid Electronic Publication), which makes research papers accessible to subscribers weeks prior to print and online journal publication.
