STM publisher Elsevier, Netherlands, has announced the launch of a new open access research publication — Journal of Clinical and Translational Endocrinology (JCTE).
The scope of this new journal is patient-oriented research in a variety of disciplines in endocrinology, including diabetes, metabolic bone disease and osteoporosis, thyroid disease, pituitary and lipid disorders. Areas of high priority include novel pilot/proof-of-concept clinical trials in humans and basic science research involving human specimens.
Dr. Vin Tangpricha from Emory University, Atlanta, will serve as the Editor-in-Chief of the journal. The journal will seek to provide authors a unique home for manuscripts focused on patient-oriented endocrinology research that translates basic science research to clinical applications for patients with endocrine diseases.
