GITEC Summit 2011 to host panel discussion on how optimising unstructured information is mission critical for government agencies -

Information infrastructure software provider Mark Logic Corporation, US, has announced that MarkLogic Federal CTO Chris Biow will speak on a panel at the Government Information Technology Executive Council (GITEC) Summit in Orlando, Florida.

Biow will be joined by Daniel Whorton, chief technology officer, SGT and Andrew Schain, solutions architect, NASA, for a presentation on 'Effectively Exploiting Semi and Unstructured Data: A Panel Discussion with Providers and Practitioners.' The panel will be moderated by Mark Walther, senior analyst, NASA Headquarters, and will be held on March 8, 2011.

During the panel session, Biow will examine the approaches government agencies are relying on to solve challenges related to the effective exploitation of semi and unstructured data. The panel will also explore how the experience and perspective of a leading industry provider of current technologies and future trends are compared and contrasted with government employees trying to solve some of the challenges associated with exploiting semi and unstructured data.
