O'Reilly Media, Inc. and UBM TechWeb, co-producers of Web 2.0 Expo and Web 2.0 Summit, have announced the return of Web 2.0 Expo San Francisco, an annual event for those building the next generation Web. This year, Web 2.0 Expo will focus on 'Unlocking the Digital Economy', helping businesses profit from their ideas in 2011. Web 2.0 Expo San Francisco is scheduled for March 28 - 31, 2011 at Moscone West.
Celebrating its fifth year as the leading event inspiring and educating the tech industry by providing educational programmes and valuable networking opportunities, the event includes several new session formats. In addition to new 20-minute breakouts, the programme features a track of Conversations and 50-minute roundtable discussions open to attendee participation. Each Conversation will be led by a Web 2.0 expert and dedicated to a hot topic. Attendees will be at the center of the discussion rather than simply listen or ask questions.
Web 2.0 Expo San Francisco will consist of a multi-track conference, new 'unconference' style Conversations, a rich exposition featuring companies showcasing the latest innovations and many networking opportunities and events.
