Bioanalysis accepted for coverage by ISI: Science Citation Index Expanded -

Publisher Future Science Ltd has announced that its journal, Bioanalysis, has been selected for coverage by ISI: Science Citation Index Expanded, available as the Web of Science, Biosis Previews and Biosis Reviews Reports and Meetings.

Maintained by Thomson Scientific, ISI (Institute for Scientific Information) offers bibliographic databases covering thousands of academic journals, including a continuation of its longtime print-based indexing service the Science Citation Index (SCI), as well as the Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), and the Arts and Humanities Citation Index (AHCI). All of these are available via ISI's Web of Knowledge database service. This database allows a researcher to identify which articles have been cited most frequently, and who has cited them.

Bioanalysis is currently published on a monthly basis in print and online formats on a rapid publication basis, with articles subject to peer review by three independent assessors. It has an international expert authorship and offers commentary and analysis on the advances, implementation and performance of analytical technologies. The journal will increase its frequency to fortnightly from January 2011.

Coverage of the journal is directed by two Senior Editors and an extensive international advisory panel. The two Senior Editors are Brian Booth, Deputy Director, US FDA, Division of Clinical Pharmacology 5, USA and Howard Hill, Group Director Pharmaceutical Development, Huntingdon Life Sciences, UK.
