Journal subscription services provider Swets, Netherlands, has announced the appointment of Jonathan Newcomb as its new Chairman of the Board.
Prior to his appointment to Swets, Jon Newcomb worked as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for Simon & Schuster and served on the Viacom Executive Committee. He was also President of McGraw Hill Financial Information group, (Standard and Poors and Data Resources).
He currently serves as Managing Director of Coady Diemar Partners, a New York financial and strategic Advisory firm. In addition, he serves on the boards of Journal Communications (NYSE), United Business Media (LSE) and the Columbia Business School.
