Integrated media firm Ziff Davis Enterprise, US, has launched a video blog series on eWeek.com. Sponsored by Hewlett Packard, the goal of the video blog is to provide SMB executives with the technology knowledge they need to manage and grow their business. The video blog series focuses on new media strategies and their business uses, mainly social media and video as a platform.
The leading edge technology that makes up this series combines content, video and new social networking tools. The video content itself is platform agnostic – it can be viewed from the blog, in syndicated units across all Ziff Davis Enterprise sites, within a newly launched multi-media overlay unit, and via all mobile and tablet devices. All instances of the videos/players include native ability for users to share via email and social media platforms, as well as syndicate across the web via embeddable tags.
The 36-part series launched in late March and will run through December 2011. To date, the video blog has featured guest speakers such as Steve Garfield, video expert and author of ‘Get Seen’; Frank Ohlhorst, SMB Technology expert; and Paul Gillin, Social media expert and author of ‘Social Marketing to Business Customers.’
