NetLearning Learning Management System selected as 2011 CODiE Award finalist in the Education Technology category -

NetLearning, a US-based provider of online courses and e-learning software for healthcare workers and hospital administrators, has announced that the latest version of the NetLearning Learning Management System (LMS) has been selected as a 2011 CODiE Award finalist in the Education Technology category Best Professional Development Solution.

The NetLearning LMS allows healthcare facilities to manage the educational requirements of their staff, track training compliance and personalise each learner's interface. With an easy-to-use, flexible and powerful platform, the latest version of the NetLearning LMS adds a number of new capabilities to the existing SCORM 1.2 certified LMS platform. Additional features include a fully web-based Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery model, pre-assessment by course and curriculum, and a customisable portal-based end user interface.

The CODiE Awards, established in 1986 by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), aim to showcase the software and information industry's finest products and services, and to honour excellence in corporate achievement.

Of the 425 total CODiE Award nominations awarded this year, only 113 products from 80 companies were selected as finalists. These nominated products underwent an intensive review by judges via live demonstration, trial product access and analysis of product documentation. The judging panel consisted of subject matter experts, analysts, journalists and others with deep experience in the field. A full listing of the 2011 CODiE Award winners can be viewed on the CODiE Awards Website.
