Thieme in deal to publish International Archives of Otorhinolaryngology -

Scientific and medical publisher Thieme has announced a new agreement to take over publication of the International Archives of Otorhinolaryngology (IAO). Already in its 17th year of publication, this is one of the world's oldest open access journals. The title appears four times a year and like other open access titles from Thieme, it is available to read for free via Thieme E-Journals.

IAO is a peer-reviewed, indexed journal publishing original research and topical reviews containing clinical information of use to specialists working in all fields related to otorhinolaryngology. In addition, special sections discuss new technologies, innovations, materials and significant problem cases. The publication of the first issue of IAO with Thieme also coincides with the International Open Access Week.

International Archives of Otorhinolaryngology is projected as an ideal reference for the practicing specialist, as well as an excellent tool for students who require the latest information on emerging techniques and areas of interest in the field. Focusing on the disorders of the ear, nose, mouth, pharynx, larynx, cervical region and respiratory ducts, the journal covers the entire spectrum of otorhinolaryngology- from prevention, to diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.
