Publishing-specific software solutions provider Publishing Technology, UK, has announced the appointment of Jon White, former Digital Publishing Director at Macmillan Education, as the company's Business Development Director for Australia and New Zealand.
The appointment follows Publishing Technology's announcement last year that it intends to expand operations into Australia; serving both the local and New Zealand markets with its flagship enterprise application advance products, as well as its digital publishing platforms, ingentaconnect and pub2web.
Jon White is an expert in online publishing, having been Digital Publishing Director at Macmillan Education and Digital Licensing Manager at Penguin, before taking on various consulting assignments in the sector. He will initially focus on opportunities for Publishing Technology's Enterprise Applications suite of products and will be based in Sydney.
