Library automation solutions provider SirsiDynix, US, has announced the transition of SirsiDynix Chief Operating Officer Bill Davison into the role of Chief Executive Officer. Matt Hawkins, SirsiDynix departing CEO, will remain involved with the company as an executive advisor and member of the board of directors. Day-to-day operations of SirsiDynix will be assumed by Davison in his new role of CEO, effective immediately.
Hawkins will remain engaged as a member of the SirsiDynix board while he transitions to Vista Equity Partners to continue work there. Davison, a long-time supporter of the library industry, expressed excitement for the transition and reaffirmed the positive momentum of the company.
