BQFJ selects Atypon as journals platform provider for QScience.com -

Atypon, a provider of software to the publishing and media industry, has announced that Bloomsbury Qatar Foundation Journals (BQFJ) has selected Atypon's Literatum as the publishing software for its portfolio of scholarly open access journals. BQFJ's platform, QScience.com, is slated for launch in December 2010.

Literatum gives BQFJ and QScience.com support for rapid publication in multiple languages, sophisticated search, and the ability to integrate other content types, including eBooks, datasets, conference proceedings, and audio and video multimedia. Superior new features are planned for next year.

Professional and scholarly publishers are using the Literatum platform to manage, deliver and monetise their digital content. Publishing organisations such as JSTOR, the American Chemical Society, de Gruyter, and Annual Reviews are using Literatum to provide controlled access to journals, books, reference works, and other types of publications.
