STM publisher IOS Press, Netherlands, has announced the appointment of Popke Huizinga as Director, effective February 1. The announcement was made by Dr. Einar Fredriksson during Huizinga's 20th anniversary celebration on February 4th.
Dr. Fredriksson will stay involved in the day to day business of IOS Press.
IOS Press serves the information needs of scientific and medical communities worldwide. The company currently publishes more than 100 international journals and approximately 100 book titles each year on subjects ranging from computer sciences and mathematics to medicine and the natural sciences.
