Healthcare publisher Touch Briefings, UK, has announced the appointment of Prof. Ronald F van Vollenhoven, MD, PhD, as Editor-in-Chief of European Musculoskeletal Review, a quarterly review journal.
Prof. van Vollenhoven currently serves as Chief, Clinical Trials Unit Department of Rheumatology at the Karolinska University Hospital and Professor and Chief, Unit for Clinical Therapy Research, Inflammatory Diseases (ClinTRID) at the Karolinska Institute. His research interests focus around the development and systematic evaluation of biological and immunomodulatory treatments for rheumatic diseases.
