Ingram Content Group, a provider of a range of physical and digital services to the book industry, has announced that its Vital Source business unit has been awarded four Telly Awards, including the highest Silver Award, for their innovative work in educational video production. The Telly award honours the finest video and film productions, outstanding cable TV commercials and programmes, and online commercials, video and films.
The Vital Source media group is a leader in developing e-textbooks, interactive media, and innovative high-quality videos for the education community. Vital Source received one Silver Award and two Bronze Awards for videos produced for the New York City Department of Education as well as a Bronze Award for their work for The National Center on Time & Learning.
A judging panel of more than 500 industry professionals, each a past winner of a Silver Telly and a member of The Silver Telly Council, judged the competition. The Council evaluated entries to recognise distinction in creative work. This year, the 32nd Annual Telly Awards received over 11,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents. Less than 10 percent of entries were chosen as Winners of the Silver Telly, the highest honour. About 25 percent of entries were chosen as Winners of the Bronze Telly.
