The CLOCKSS Archive has partnered with the Forest Research and Management Institute ICAS to preserve Annals of Forest Research in its geographically and geopolitically distributed network of redundant archive nodes, located at 12 major research libraries around the world. This action provides for content to be freely available to everyone after a ‘trigger event’ and ensures an author's work will be maximally accessible and useful over time.
With an experience of over 80 years in forest research and development, Forest Research and Management Institute ICAS is the main manager of the scientific and technical information in the Romanian forestry sector. Its mission is to give a scientific background to the development and management of the forestry sector through producing, developing and disseminating scientific and technical information, by setting the national forest inventory, providing professional consulting, generating, transferring and implementing of new and improved technologies, developing innovative products and contributing to the welfare of our society.
Annals of Forest Research is a biannual scientific journal, continuously edited since 1934, published by Forest Research and Management Institute ICAS. The journal is projected as a reference scientific publication in environment and forest sciences, having a considerable contribution to dissemination, capitalisation and assert of scientific results on national and international level.
