MetaPress appoints Mark Carden as Business Development Director for Europe -

MetaPress, a web hosting platform service for STM content as well as humanities and social sciences, has announced that it has retained Mark Carden to act as director of sales, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Carden is a technology and education consultant with more than 15 years experience in business development for scholarly content, software and service providers. Carden will continue as principal consultant at Naughton Consulting Ltd.

Carden is an experienced executive and consultant with over fifteen years of expertise in publishing and education technology, including senior roles at Publishing Technology, Ingram Digital and Dynix. He has a further fifteen years of experience in project management and information technology, working at blue chip companies such as Accenture and Barclays. He is a Principal Consultant at Naughton Consulting Ltd., which provides consulting and interim services to clients in education, publishing, libraries, financial services and government.

MetaPress serves publishers worldwide by hosting their e-content and making it accessible to an extensive audience that appreciates the high quality of client services offered by the company. Currently, MetaPress provides services and support to more than 200 publishers, serving as a silent partner dedicated to supporting and enhancing the publisher's brand in the marketplace.
