Publisher Mary Ann Liebert, Inc. has announced the appointment of Dr. Robert Lanza as Editor-in-Chief of BioResearch Open Access, effective immediately. Dr. Jane Taylor, of the MRC Centre for Regenerative Medicine, University of Edinburgh, will continue in her role as Editor.
The Journal, in its second year of publication, is a fully peer-reviewed open access journal for the rapid-publication of a broad range of scientific topics including stem cells, molecular and cellular biology, tissue engineering and biomaterials, bioengineering, gene therapy, genetics, biochemistry, virology, microbiology, and neuroscience. All articles are published within 4 weeks of acceptance and available on the BioResearch Open Access website.
Dr. Lanza is Chief Scientific Officer at Advanced Cell Technology and Adjunct Professor at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He has hundreds of publications and inventions, and over 30 scientific books to his credit.
