The Optical Society (OSA) has announced the editorial board members for Photonics Research, its latest peer-reviewed, open-access journal in partnership with the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (SIOM) and Chinese Laser Press (CLP). The international editorial board, led by Editor-in-Chief Zhiping (James) Zhou of Peking University in China and Deputy Editor Michael Fiddy of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, comprises leading optics and photonics researchers from around the world.
The Photonics Research editorial board will invite and select original research and review articles on optics and photonics - from basic to applied research - submitted by research teams around the world. Associate editors will set the editorial tone for the journal by taking primary responsibility for timely peer review of manuscripts submitted to the journal. They will also provide guidance and direction in the development and operations of the new journal.
Paper submissions for Photonics Research are currently being accepted. The first issue will be published in June.
