Academic publisher SAGE has announced that it's Global Publishing Director and author of three books, Ziyad Marar, has been appointed to The Campaign for Social Science (CfSS) coveted board.
Launched to raise the profile of social science in the public, media and parliament, The CfSS is one of the leading voices and advocates for social sciences in the UK. Since SAGE's founding 50 years ago, its role as an active voice and support for the social sciences has been fervently underscored. In his capacity as Global Publishing Director, Ziyad has played a pivotal role in both initiating and supporting SAGE's global work in campaigning for the social sciences, working alongside key organizations to lobby against Government acts and threats to social science funding as well as working with key policy figures and academics to publish research outputs into the challenges against social sciences in the UK.
