Radcliffe Cardiology to present live case initiative at European Society of Cardiology 2015 -

Cardiovascular publisher and media company Radcliffe Cardiology has announced an innovative digital education initiative at this year's European Society of Cardiology (ESC) annual meeting in London, UK (29 August - 2 September 2015).

In collaboration with the Imperial College NHS Trust and Interventional Cardiology Review (ICR) and funded by industry partners' AstraZeneca and Medtronic, Radcliffe Cardiology has organised a live transmission of a patient case direct from the cath lab of the Hammersmith Hospital, performed by consultant cardiologist, Dr. Justin Davies. This will take place at 11.00am BST on the September 1, 2015.

The case entitled 'Contemporary Management Of Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) From Diagnosis To Therapy' will provide a unique insight into the management of an ACS patient undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and educate physicians on the scientific rationale behind the treatment strategy taken.

Healthcare professionals will be able to access the live broadcast in one of two ways depending on their preference. Firstly, if they are attending ESC 2015 they will be able to watch it live on the AstraZeneca booth (E100 & 150) with the added benefit of being able to interact direct with the session moderator, Professor Carlo Di Mario (Imperial College London, UK) who will have an open line of communication with Dr Davies in the cath lab. Alternatively, physicians can register to be provided access to the live stream on the Radcliffe Cardiology website RadcliffeCardiology.com.
