Library automation solutions provider Ex Libris Group has announced that Sabanci University in Turkey is now in production with a cloud-based implementation of the Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution. In addition, the university has subscribed to the bX article recommender service - also cloud based - and has moved its SFX OpenURL link resolver to the Ex Libris cloud environment.
With Primo, users explore their locally managed collections along with global and regional resources indexed in the Primo Central Index of scholarly electronic materials, an integral part of Primo, and obtain one blended, relevance-ranked result list. Integrated with the Primo implementation, the bX Recommender provides article-level recommendations generated from the usage data of thousands of researchers around the world.
Ex Libris provides efficient, user-friendly products that serve the needs of libraries today and will facilitate their transition into the future.
