STM publisher IOS Press, Netherlands, has announced that volumes 124 to 143 of the book series International School of Physics Enrico Fermi have recently been digitised and are now also available as ebooks on the IOS Press Ebooks Platform. All volumes published under the IOS Press imprint are now available in print and as ebook. It is possible to purchase complete volumes as well as separate articles.
The International School of Physics Enrico Fermi was founded in 1953 by Societa' Italiana di Fisica (SIF) and consists of 3 advanced physics courses held every summer in Varenna (on lake Como) by eminent scientists. It aims to promote and disseminate up-to-date information on current developments in various topics of contemporary physics. Over the years it has built up a prestigious reputation as a high-quality international school. 60 Nobel prize winners presented their lectures in Varenna, out of which 13 had been awarded soon after lecturing there.
The books in this series present the proceedings of the courses which are published by SIF and distributed in partnership with IOS Press.
