EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) has announced that the East Baton Rouge Parish Library, an award-winning public library in Louisiana, has chosen EBSCO Discovery Service™ (EDS) as its discovery solution. The library was impressed with EDS because of its fine-tuned relevance ranking and ability to create a search experience tailored to the needs of its users.
According to Andrew Tadman, Reference Services and Computer Services Librarian at the library, EBSCO Discovery Service will help users gain access to more of the library's extensive print and electronic resources. The customisation options available in EDS have also been useful to library users. Tadman points specifically to the service's ability to incorporate customised widgets that enhance the discovery experience.
