Lovington Public Library will replace its current ILS app with an affordable, easy to deploy and maintain Boopsie app that will enable 24/7 remote library access on patrons' devices of choice.
Lovington Public Library will work closely with Boopsie to develop a library-branded Express app, the feature set with wraparound technical support and affordable pricing that Boopsie developed specifically for small and rural libraries. Fully hosted and maintained by Boopsie's oft lauded customer service team, the app will provide researchers with seamless access to authoritative content from trusted aggregators and publishers. Through a user-friendly interface, Lovington Public will make its services and high quality resources more accessible to the members of its diverse community.
The app will include usage-promoting integrations like Catalog Search using Smart Prefix search, BookLook and ILS for holds and renewals; crowd-sourcing tools that mirror the mobile experience that users have come to expect like Ratings & Reviews and Top 20 Books channel; analytics to help drive collection decisions available through the Boopsie usage dashboard; connection-enhancing features to put the library's services in patrons' hands like events calendar, reading lists, social media integration and Ask a Librarian; vendor-neutral software that ensures the customized app will integrate with the Library's ILS of choice; and marketing services offered by Boopsie's experienced marketing team to help libraries increase usage and drive discovery of resources.
