Choice, the premier review journal for new English-language books and digital resources for academic libraries, has announced the release of the new Choice tablet app, which makes Choice magazine available for the iPad and Android tablets. Current Choice or Choice Reviews Online subscribers can access the Choice app for free by downloading it from the App Store and Google Play.
The Choice tablet app includes features and functionalities that make it more than simply a digital version of the monthly magazine, including the options to browse by subject; search by keyword; create lists; email reviews; sign up for ACRL-Choice webinars or watch the most recent presentations; and use social media links to share articles on Facebook or Twitter.
Debuting with the September 2015 issue, the Choice tablet app joins a growing roster of products and services from Choice, which include Choice magazine, Choice Reviews Online, Resources for College Libraries and the ACRL-Choice webinar program.
Choice is a publishing unit of the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL), a division of the American Library Association. Choice has for over 50 years been the premier source for reviews of academic books and digital resources of interest to scholars and students in higher education.
