Dr. Marina Picciotto of Yale University named interim editor-in-chief of The Journal of Neuroscience -

The Society for Neuroscience (SfN) has announced a transition in the role of editor-in-chief of The Journal of Neuroscience. Dr. Marina Picciotto of Yale University, a former senior editor of JNeurosci and member of the Society's Council, will become interim editor-in-chief, effective September 12, serving until a permanent editor-in-chief is named. Picciotto replaces Dora Angelaki, who served since Jan 2015.

The search process for a permanent editor-in-chief will get underway shortly and information will be available in the coming weeks.

The Society for Neuroscience (SfN) is an organisation of nearly 40,000 basic scientists and clinicians who study the brain and nervous system.
