HighWire Press, Inc., the leading technology platform and strategic partner to influential scholarly publishers and societies, has announced the appointment of Jennifer Chang as Vice President, Publisher Relations.
Jennifer comes to HighWire to lead the global publisher relations team. She brings a breadth of knowledge and experience in the areas of strategic commercial operations, product launch, go-to market strategies, and mergers & acquisitions. Most recently with Elsevier, she was responsible for sales strategy, business development of corporate markets as well as M&A due diligence and post-integration of several assets. Prior to that, she served a variety of roles in consulting, marketing, and sales at technology companies including Oracle and Ariba.
Jennifer will split her time between coasts: at HighWire's headquarters in California, as well as from her office in New York City. This flexibility will further enable the Publisher Relations team to serve the needs of both North American and international customers.
