STM publishing company SLACK Incorporated, US, has announced that Joan-Marie Stiglich, ELS, has been named to the position of Chief Content Officer, SLACK News. The move recognises the growing importance and sophistication of content strategy and development to the overall success of SLACK Incorporated.
In this key role Joan-Marie will oversee all content initiatives for SLACK news brands, both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats to drive engagements, retention and positive customer behaviour. She will collaborate with sales, marketing, special services and Wyanoke Group partners to develop content strategies that ultimately build revenue and enhance the growth of SLACK Incorporated and Wyanoke.
Joan-Marie started at SLACK in 1994. She has held numerous positions including director of the Journal Special Projects group, editor in chief of Ocular Surgery News, group editorial director, and most recently served as senior vice president, SLACK News Group, with editorial responsibility for all SLACK controlled circulation publications.
She was a leader in the development and launch of Healio.com, SLACK's online content platform. Joan-Marie will work collaboratively across teams and content types to continue to advance Healio.com as the hub and focus of SLACK content strategy and initiatives.
