Brill launches new journal - Philological Encounters -

International publisher Brill has announced the launch of a new journal in 2016, Philological Encounters, in collaboration with the research program Zukunftsphilologie: Revisiting the Canons of Textual Scholarship (Forum Transregionale Studien/Freie Universität Berlin).

Brill adds the peer-reviewed journal to its growing publishing portfolio in Philology, Intellectual History and the History of Scholarship, which spans across all Brill publishing areas, such as Asian Studies, Middle East and Islamic Studies, and Language and Literature. Philological Encounters will consist of 4 issues per year, with an accompanying book series of the same title.

The journal will be available both online on http://booksandjournals.brillonline.com/ and in print.
